Profile: Utah Society of Healthcare Human Resources Administration (USHHRA)

USHHRA  has a long history both in the State of Utah and its affiliation with ASHHRA. Originally organized in the late 1970's, USHHRA had a small, but strong chapter. is dedicated to advancing the development and maintenance of effective human resource administration in the healthcare industry.  Specifically, the Society’s objectives are to:

• Stimulate the exchange of knowledge, expertise and experience between members and their associates;
• Further the personal development of members through the sharing of ideas, plans and best practices;
• Discuss current business, legislative and human resource trends and issues that may have an impact on healthcare human resources administration;
• promote high ethical standards and foster friendly relationships between human resources executives, professionals and students in the healthcare field.

 

Today, USHHRA has undergone many changes. The society has now developed a Board of Directors to oversee the affairs of the Society. A new team of officers has been elected and is eager to serve the members of USHHRA. There are still many changes to come forth that will enhance the value of your membership with USHHRA.
